Embarking on a Design Odyssey
Our journey with Reis & Reis began with a clear goal: to infuse the essence of the Porsche 930 Turbo into our project. This ambitious venture unfolded over several weeks, each marked by critical decisions and creative breakthroughs.
Week 1: Laying the Groundwork
Our first week was all about setting the stage. We engaged in a detailed discussion with Reis & Reis, scrutinizing Matteo's original design. Our focus was on identifying elements that needed a fresh perspective, all under the guiding inspiration of the Porsche 930 Turbo.

Week 2: Refining the Vision
After absorbing our initial feedback, the Reis & Reis team returned with several design proposals. This week was pivotal, as we made key decisions that would shape the project's trajectory:
Rejecting the GT Look: We decided against incorporating the GT style on the front hood, seeking a different aesthetic.
Rethinking Fog Lights: The placement of fog lights shifted from the outer to the inner side of the mask, enhancing the front facade.
Expanding Fenders: We opted for wider front and rear fenders, giving the car a more pronounced and robust appearance.
Preserving Key Features: It was crucial to retain the rear brakes' air cooling intake vents, a nod to practicality within our design ethos.
Hood and Bumper Integration: Adjusting the hood cut lines to be closer to the front bumper created a sleeker look.
Adding the Iconic Spoiler: Incorporating a massive rear spoiler was a game-changer, directly linking our design to the 930's heritage.
and much more...

Week 3: Seeing the Transformation
The Reis & Reis team diligently implemented our suggestions, and the impact was immediate. The addition of the rear spoiler significantly altered the car's overall aesthetic, capturing the spirit of the Porsche 930. It was a moment of realization for us - the heritage of the 930 was not just being respected but also reimagined in a contemporary context.
Conclusion: A Promising Direction
As we concluded the third week, satisfaction set in. We were not just designing a car; we were crafting a tribute, a modern interpretation of a classic icon. The journey with Reis & Reis was proving to be a blend of respectful homage and bold innovation, and we were eagerly anticipating the next steps in this exciting design process.
