A major design feature of the Sanctum car is its masculine bumpers. These bumpers are distinguished by a bold rectangular shape and visible carbon fiber, emulating the rubberized components of the original 930 design. Adopting the completely revamped bumper necessitated redesigning and developing the turn signals from the ground up as well.

We turned to Ante Medic's company PulsarLabs in Zagreb, Croatia to help us manufacture the turn signal. We have had very good experiences with PulsarLabs over the past 3 years developing the sportreact IoT platform. Fun fact about PulsarLabs is that they were an instrumental part in developing the first Croatian satellite CroCube that launched via SpaceX in 2024.
The development of the turn signals had to be done in following steps:
Design a CAD engineering drawing for the turn signal and the sleeve that secures it. The fitting must also be mounted to the bumper from the inside, with the turn signal remaining accessible from the outside for replacement purposes.
Once the engineering drawing for the turn signal body and the sleeve was finished, the design of the internal electronics and the transparent yellowish lens needed to be addressed.
Then each of the components had to be made and assembled and tested.
Components are assembled and packaged for shipment to the USA.
Turn signal has a perfect fit with the carbon fiber bumper!!!

Having tested the prototype and verified that the fit is satisfactory, the PulsarLabs team will begin developing the final version of the turn signals. This will involve slightly extending the electronic PCB board to achieve wider light emission and adding extra components to eliminate the risk of overheating.
